3 hours with sea wind in your hair and port in your glass – is there anything better? Port at sea is a collaboration between The Port Bar and the ship Lilla Dan (lilladan.dk).
Experience a port wine tasting aboard the historic top-sail schooner Lilla Dan, built in 1951 and since used both as a training ship and a charter vessel. The event includes an approximately 3-hour sail from Admiral Kaj out into the Øresund and back again. Along the way, a port wine-based cocktail and 5 different glasses of port wine are served, accompanied by light snacks.
For this event, we dial the port wine nerdery down a bit and focus on coziness. Of course, we’ll say a little about the wines being served, but the main focus is on enjoying the view, the sea breeze, and each other’s company.
During the trip, there will of course also be an opportunity to see the beautiful ship both inside and out, and to learn more about its fascinating history by asking the knowledgeable crew.
